Blade Runner Textures

These black-and-white texture sheets were circulated among VFX artists during the late 1990s and were given to me while I was working at Digital Domain on The Fifth Element.

I believe they originated in, or were associated with, the miniature-effects work on Blade Runner, but I cannot independently verify the complete authorship or chain of custody although I am digging into that.

I did not create this artwork and make no claim of ownership. I’m passing it on as a surviving fragment of analogue VFX history. Here are those original black line art scans of the refinery towers, tanks, antennae and panels.

Resolution ranges from 1k to 4k
