Ankaris Records

ANKARIS is a world built within the skeletal remains of colossal star-faring vessels whose original purpose has long since faded into myth. The giant vessels of ANKARIS once crossed the space lanes carrying intelligences now long departed.

Their immense bodies were brought here for dismantling, the ships were never wrecks.
They were placed here, a ritual sky burial on a planet wide scale.

Entire communities live among the hollowed hulls.
Their corridors became streets.
Their reaction chambers became churches.

What survives is a civilisation shaped by memory, ritual, and the dismantling of the dead.

Over centuries the hollowed giants became mountains, cities, territories and sacred ground.

Their original purpose has faded into myth, though stories persist of ancient intelligences that once moved within them like souls inhabiting vast mechanical bodies.

ANKARIS is the past archaeology of a forgotten future.
