Drone Shot
Drone Shot started as a random sketch. I wasn’t deliberately drawing for an Ankaris painting here as I don’t want flying craft within that world without special reason. But it did eventually find it’s way into the project.

Procreate colour sketch based on pencil sketch
Not all paintings go through a standard traditional process. This went from pencil sketch to Procreate digital colour rough. Sometimes I get the inspiration to paint into the wee hours on the tablet and just let the flow take me.
This then became the basis of further drawings and studies and the beginning of the 40inch painting.
Drone colour studies
The painting has stayed in it’s current form until a few weeks ago when I revisited the work.

The latest update. NOTE: This is an iPhone photo. When I get the painting re-scanned, I will have a better example.
