Spectrum Exhibit, Society of Illustrators

Howdy Folks!

Thought I’d share this pic taken by the guys hanging the Spectrum Exhibit at the Society of Illustrators. My painting Sky Burial #2 is back there waiting to be hung. Many thanks to Irene Gallo for posting this on FB and to Evan Shipard for alerting me to it.

In a few days I will actually be able to update this post with my own pictures from the artists reception. Can’t wait!

Many thanks to the photographer!

To be updated…

As promised here is a picture of Sky Burial #2 hanging at the base of the stairs on the lower level of the Society of Illustrators. I shot this after my return from Illuxcon, not on the night of the artists reception… explains the lack of people!

If you ever get to NY, you must drop in and see what they have on their walls.

Sky Burial #3

Howdy Folks!

Here is my latest and last painting I finished before Illuxcon. I’m writing this a week out from flying to the US for the show so I should have this hanging on the wall directly in front of me by the time you read this. I wanted to hold this one back until Illuxcon opened.

This is the latest in the series and another large-ish sized canvas. A little more intimate than the others with a closer look at some characters in that world.

I started this one almost three years ago in rough form so I’m glad it’s finally come out.

Enjoy!
